Low Temperature Plasma Physics Laboratory
Head: Musa Geavit, Ph.D.
Basic activities
The laboratory activity covers both basic researches concerning
low temperature plasma physics as well as applied research concerning plasma
technologies as small-scale production of plasma devices. The characteristic
of the activity in the laboratory is development of basic researches founded
on original ideas followed by strong efforts in the direction of their
applications:
Research directions
Studies of discharges in the vapors of the anodic materials
-
Studies of the discharges generated in gas mixtures
-
Studies on electron beams in fast transient plasmas
-
Laser spectroscopy of plasmas
-
Studies of decaying plasmas and their applications
-
Plasma deposition of carbon based materials
-
Enviromental applications of low temperature plasmas
-
Gas discharge based devices
